picturing EXPOSED

Barbara (my photography teacher) would be unhappy. Rather than shooting in aperture priority, this was shot in shutter priority and not focused. The whimsical, yet bold nature of over-exposed, light saturated pictures makes my soul happy. Over-exposure has negative connotations in both photography and life. However, synonyms for exposed include reveal, lay bare, and bring to light. And, there is something about bringing our imperfections to the light that somehow makes them less noticeable.

Bringing my imperfections to the light has helped me let go of them (or has forced them to let go of me!)
